Fees

Fees are invoiced ahead of each term and due at the start of each term (6 times a year).  Fees are reviewed annually by the Playgroup Management Committee, and approved by members at the Annual General Meeting.  All parents with children at Playgroup are part of the membership.

Fees are payable on all sessions after the child’s start date, whether or not a parent/carer stays.

Fees are payable for any sessions missed through illness.  If your child is unwell with a long term condition please phone and speak to the Administrator as the Committee may consider a reduction for long term illness.

Absence from Playgroup due to holidays during term time will be charged.

If you plan to withdraw your child from Playgroup, please notify us in writing one term in advance.

Playgroup requires a one off registration fee of £10 to help cover administrator costs.

From the main term after their 3rd birthday, all children are entitled to 6 sessions a week (a total of 15 hours) at Playgroup: funded by the Nursery Education Grant.

Childcare Vouchers

We are part of various childcare voucher schemes including Busy Bees voucher scheme, Imagine Co-operative, Accor Services and Sodexho Pass childcare vouchers. Parents should enquire at their place of work about any schemes that are on offer and we are happy to provide further information.

Further assistance may be available for younger children whose parents are on Income Support/Job Seekers Allowance, please ask the Administrator. Up to 15 hours support can be available for 2 years olds.  Health Visitors and Children Centre hubs can also give information and support about the two year old entitlement and a checker can be found on line via the County Council web-site.

From September 2017 some working families will be entitled to up to 30 hours childcare per week.  A checker for eligibility can be found on line and our Administrator can offer advice.  The Playgroup Breakfast Club can be included in entitled hours.

Fees may increase from time to time and notice will be given of this.
